Roger was born in Nairobi, Kenya and educated at Prince Edward School, Harare and the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg where he qualified with a B.Comm, LLB law degree. After a sporting career as a ranked Wimbledon and US Open tennis pro, he has applied his knowledge and teaching prowess to assist with the management of several exclusive sporting centers in the New York area. In 2016 Roger successfully completed the Series 66 examinations to become a qualified Investment Advisor Representative and co-founded KDT Advisors, LLC in 2017.

Willena Louwrens
Willena grew up in South Africa where she worked as a Personal Assistant to the Head of Department of Linguistics as well as administrative support for the staff members in the department at the University of South Africa. In 2013, Willena and her family relocated to Toronto, Canada where her skills and experience found her appointed in an administrative accounts payable and receivable position for two family-owned businesses. Today Willena devotes her time to support KDT’s administration, operations, and compliance.

Yelena was born near Minsk, Belarus and emigrated to the United States with her family in late 1990s. She graduated with a Bachelor of Finance & Administration from Baruch College, New York in 2009 and started her business career at the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. Working with a team of 6 specialist doctors, she became a senior coordinator at the hospital, responsible for managing the busy schedules of the doctors and all their supporting administration. Yelena relocated with her family to New Jersey and was recruited by the US head office of Brother Industries, a 100-year-old leading Japanese multinational electronics and electric equipment company. For over 9 years, Yelena was a key member of the IT, finance and administration team which saw US revenue growth of over 20% per year to its $1billion level today. In September 2025 Yelena joined KDT as Operations Manager and together with a small team takes responsibility for administration, operations, and compliance.

Sherry O’Connor
After 18 years in New York, Sherry returned closer to home to take on responsibilities in an elite private client team at Merrill Lynch in Princeton. Sherry joined KDT in September 2025, located only a few miles away from her former Merrill Lynch office and she now takes responsibility for the support and services of KDT clients in the US.
